      Capt. Hook
  5 Stars

This was a very good book. It is the story of Captain Hook when he was a kid. It does not connect very well with Peter Pan but i think it was cool. If you have small children and they like bedtime stories i think this would be a good book to read to them.

The Story revolves around the young Captain James Hook. He goes to a boarding school and immediately makes an enemy of Arthur L. Darling. If you know the Peter Pan story that is a little foreshadowing because Wendy's last name is Darling. Anyways when he gets to the school he immediately starts making trouble. Between having oddly colored blood (his blood is yellow. they never say why exactly), a pet spider, and hair that grows back overnight he spooks the teachers and gets a gang of students as friends. But when he falls for the Sultana Ananova he is in for a long and tumultuous ride.

The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan
                         5 Stars
It was an awesome book and it had lots of adventure, excitement, mystery and keeping true to his form Rick Riordan used one of the types of ancient Gods. Extremely different from the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series where he used the Greek/Roman gods in this series he uses the Egyptian gods! including my favorite *insert drum roll here* BAST!!! The cat goddess!
This story revolves around the adventures of siblings Carter and Sadie Kane. Carter travels with his dad, a famous archaeologist, around the world while Sadie lives with her grandparents because of the freak accident that killed their mother. When their father goes missing they embark on a journey to save him that changes their lives forever.
Hi I'm Vannah and this particular blog will mostly be for my book reviews, play reviews, and random tips. I will base my reviews on a 5 star rating. One star equals a pretty bad/boring book and 5 stars equals an amazing book that I really like.
